WHERE WE COMPETE
We hold monthly events at Hollytree Off-Road in Gurley Alabama. This site has been the home to HuntsvilleRallyX for 10 years!
Check out how to get there here.
HOW IT WORKS
PREPARATION

Have a car to compete with (preferably in working order).
-
Visit MotorsportsReg.com to find and register for the next event. (Our Events page has a list of the upcoming season's races that will link to registration on MotorsportsReg)
-
Show up, sign Hollytree's waiver, and have fun!

MINOR WAIVERS
-
Minor Annual Waivers MUST be filed for any participants riding in vehicles or in any hot area during the event under 19 years of age.
-
Minor waivers must be completed prior to attending our events, (the CANNOT be completed onsite).
-
PLEASE FILL AND SUBMIT FORMS ASAP (waivers can take several days to fully process).
-
Once your form is processed it is valid for the 2025 calendar year.
-
please be sure to have an offline/printed copy on-hand during the event.
-
-
Minor Waivers can be found here: Directions for Completing and Annual Minor Waiver
DAY OF
-
Sign the Hollytree waiver and receive your park entry wristband.
-
Head over to the timing trailer and sign the SCCA waiver and weekend member form, (if you are an existing SCCA member or have pre registered, you won't have to sign a weekend form).
-
Get your vehicle inspected by one of our safety stewards and get cleared to run!

RallyCross events usually occur over the course of a day with the occasional special events which may take place over two days, (MotorsportsReg will outline this during event registration).

Once the event begins, it follows an 8 run format. Each competitor does 4 runs in the morning, short break for lunch, then we return to 4 more runs in the opposite track direction from the morning.

Each run of the day is timed and the driver from each class with the lowest cumulative time at the end of the event day gets a class victory!

RALLYX RULES

SCCA updates the RallyCross Rules yearly. Please visit their site to access the current rules. SCCA Rulebook
HELMETS

To compete you need a proper helmet. Loaner helmets are available on-site on a first-come-first-serve basis. Personal helmets must be up to date with current safety requirements shown here.
CONE PENALTIES

Safety Cones are used on-track to indicate each turn. Hitting a cone incurs a time penalty. (A morning safety briefing will cover these cone rules on the day).
NATIONAL PREPARED TRUCK CLASS

After several years of growth and national recognition at the 2024 SCCA National Championship, TVR's regional truck class has recieved a provisional National Ruleset. This ruleset will run in an exhibition capcity for the 2025 Rallycross season to assess participation.
The spirit of this class is to make Rallycross even more accessible by allowing competition with small, inexpensive mini trucks. If your're interested, click the button below to see the current rules.
